4,060 servers were newly published to the official MCP Registry this week; 156 were deprecated.

The biggest deprecation cluster: one operator (TheNextGenNexus) retired 20 listings across two namespaces. The strangest: the same two servers — "Fair Random" and "Lottery Numbers" — deprecated under three different namespaces on the same day.

Delisted makes its debut: 7 servers present in the Nov 7 snapshot are gone from the Nov 8 snapshot — the first measured removals in this series.

What this is

The official MCP Registry now holds 227,852 records covering 58,628 distinct servers (as of Nov 8). This weekly diff reads the registry's own change stream — every server's
publishedAt
and
statusChangedAt
— plus a daily full snapshot, and reports what actually changed: what is new, what was deprecated, and what disappeared entirely. Issue #1 (week of Oct 26–Nov 1) is on dev.to.

🆕 New this week — the notable 12

MCPVetter — the registry auditing itself: scans MCP servers for poisoned tools and leaked secrets, and checks AI-generated code for flaws.

Piloterr — scrape 300+ websites (Amazon, LinkedIn, Google, Zillow, Crunchbase and more) as structured JSON through one API.

BrowserSolver — unlock, render, crawl and screenshot any website, with anti-bot bypass and technology detection.

Fetch Router — verified web fetch for agents: detects blocks and empty JS pages, falls back across routes, and bills only on success.

AnkiDecks — make Anki flashcards from lecture PDFs, slides, notes and YouTube videos, each card carrying its source page.

Merget — a merge queue for coding agents: set it up, operate it, and read its findings and code graphs.

SF Bay Area Transit — plan San Francisco Bay Area transit trips and check upcoming departures. Free, no API keys.

Japan Used Market — search, price stats, history and alerts for Japan's used camera, watch, guitar and model-train shops.

Ekubo Protocol — token and pool data, swap quotes and unsigned transaction plans for Ekubo and other DeFi protocols.

OPC UA MCP Server — industrial connectivity: browse, read, history, subscriptions, events and alarms for OPC UA systems.

Harbor — read-only access to a Harbor container registry: projects, artifacts, vulnerabilities, robots and replication.

Epistemic Integrity Framework — a runtime gate for AI agent claims, built to catch sycophantic drift, circular self-validation and causal errors.

⚠️ Newly deprecated — 156

One operator, 20 retirements. TheNextGenNexus deprecated 15 listings under io.github.TheNextGenNexus and 5 more under com.thenextgennexus — the week's largest single-publisher cleanup. Nov 7 alone saw 48 deprecations.

Same servers, three namespaces, one day. On Nov 6, "Fair Random" and "Lottery Numbers" were deprecated simultaneously under com.drawstoday, com.hanaprism and com.intoperson.tools — identical listings published under three names, retired together.

Deprecation as rename: com.meetnava/nava now reads "Creators x Brands (renamed; use com.creatorsxbrands/cxb)" — the old entry kept as a signpost to its successor.

Also deprecated this week: com.meridianlabssoftware/sec-form-d-funding-rounds (US startup raises from SEC Form D), com.meridianlabssoftware/eu-uk-tenders-scraper (EU TED + UK Find a Tender), com.agentcdn/arv (agent-ready video search) and com.scaledpapers/scaledpapers (uptime checks and status pages).

🗑️ Delisted — the first measured removals

Between the Nov 7 full snapshot (taken 14:23 UTC) and the Nov 8 snapshot (completed 06:57 UTC), 7 server names disappeared from the registry entirely — not deprecated, removed. Four of the seven trace to a single x402 API-hub operation listed under two namespaces (com.gadgethumans/gadgethumans-mcp and three io.github.scotia1973-bot listings). The other three: io.github.Dtsiakas/running-companion (a self-hosted Garmin data server — published Nov 6, already gone), com.starlecta/influencer-tools (Instagram influencer lookup) and io.github.abhinandansethi/lr-labs (a cross-border tax engine). Five of the seven were still marked active when last seen; two had been deprecated first.

Two honesty notes. First, the observation window for this section is the ~17 hours between the two snapshots, not the full week: removals earlier in the week, before the snapshot series began on Nov 7, are not observable by anyone. Second, a name that vanishes and later returns counts as delisted here — removal is removal, whatever the reason.

This is the section that cannot be backfilled. The registry keeps no removal log; if you weren't holding yesterday's list, the data is gone.

Method, in the open

Source: the official MCP Registry API (
registry.modelcontextprotocol.io
), the only source. Events are dated by the registry's own fields: new = a server name whose first
publishedAt
falls in the week (Mon–Sun, UTC); deprecated = status changed to
deprecated
in the week, per
statusChangedAt
; delisted = present in one daily full snapshot, absent in the next.

Notable picks: new servers with a public repository and a substantive description, at most two per publisher namespace. Annotations are condensed from each server's own registry description.

The registry's terms expressly allow downstream consumers to persist and re-serve this metadata; this feed is built entirely on that posture.
